This is the personal professional portfolio of Wei Chen, based in Yangon, Myanmar. For questions about this policy or your information, email cwei91746@gmail.com.
2. Information you provide
When you submit the contact form, it collects your name, email address, selected service, timeline, budget range, and message. Company, country, and a file attachment are optional. This information is used to understand your request, reply to you, and discuss potential work.
Messages and attachments are sent through Resend to my email inbox. Your email address is used as the reply address. The site does not maintain a separate database of inquiries. Contacting me does not subscribe you to a mailing list.
Please include only information relevant to your inquiry. Do not submit passwords, payment details, identity documents, or confidential information you are not authorized to share.
3. Booking a call
Clicking “Schedule a Call” loads Calendly inside a popup. Calendly receives the technical information needed to load its service and any booking details you enter, such as your name, email, chosen time, and answers to booking questions. Those details are used to arrange the meeting and provide booking communications.
Calendly may use cookies or similar technologies under its own privacy notice. Its booking service loads only after you open the popup. You can contact me by email instead. This website does not record audio or video.
4. Technical information and preferences
The hosting infrastructure may process your IP address, browser information, requested pages, timestamps, and error or security logs to deliver and protect the website. The contact form uses a hashed network address and a temporary request counter to limit repeated submissions; expired counters are cleared as later requests are processed or when the server process ends.
Your light or dark theme preference is saved in your browser’s local storage until you change it or clear site data. Owner-only resume administration uses GitHub sign-in and an essential, HTTP-only session cookie lasting up to eight hours, plus a ten-minute sign-in verification cookie. Only the authorized owner can publish resumes. Published PDFs are stored with Vercel Blob and made publicly available through this website; drafts remain in the owner’s browser until publishing. Pointer positions used for the photo and background animations are processed in your browser and are not sent to the server.
The portfolio does not currently include advertising trackers, visitor analytics scripts, or session-replay tools. Embedded services may process information separately as described here.
5. Service providers and external links
Service providers process information needed to deliver the features you use:
- Resend delivers contact-form emails and attachments.
- Google / Gmail hosts the inbox receiving inquiries and replies.
- Calendly provides appointment booking.
- Hosting providers deliver the pages and process technical requests. For deployments hosted on Vercel, see Vercel’s privacy notice.
The GitHub activity section retrieves my contribution statistics through the website’s server; it does not connect to your GitHub account. Following a GitHub, LinkedIn, research, or other external link takes you to a service with its own privacy practices.
Your inquiry information is not sold or used for targeted advertising. Information may also be disclosed when required by applicable law or necessary to address abuse or protect legal rights. Providers may process information in countries other than your own.
6. Retention and security
Inquiry emails, attachments, and booking records may remain in my inbox and the relevant providers’ systems for responding to your request, managing ongoing work, and meeting applicable recordkeeping needs. There is no automatic deletion schedule configured in this website. Provider logs and backups have their own retention rules.
The site keeps service credentials on the server and applies input validation and attachment limits. No internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure. You may request deletion of an inquiry using the contact address above.
7. Your choices and requests
You can browse without submitting an inquiry or opening the booking calendar. You can clear your browser’s stored theme preference and manage cookies through your browser and any controls provided by Calendly.
Depending on the laws that apply to you, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or obtain a copy of your information, or to object to or restrict certain processing. You may also have the right to withdraw consent where processing relies on it and to raise a concern with your local data-protection authority.
To make a request, email cwei91746@gmail.com and describe what you need. I may ask for information needed to verify the request. Some records may need to be retained for legal obligations or ongoing matters.
8. Children’s privacy
This portfolio is intended for professional inquiries, not services directed at children. If you believe a child has submitted personal information, contact me so I can review and address it.

This policy may be updated when the website’s features, service providers, or information-handling practices change. The date above identifies the latest revision.
